Feminist Tech Exchanges (FTX) are the annual gathering of activists from different background and movements, including women rights activists, sexual rights advocates, journalists, media persons, artists, feminists, queer individuals, tech enthusiasts and young women. FTX in Nepal is organized by Body & Data based on the modules developed by Women’s’ Right Programme (WRP) at Association of Progressive Communication (APC) which are adapted to the local needs.
Implemented in a workshop modality, these gatherings will provide space for the attendees to learn, share and discuss intersectionality of gender, sexuality and internet along with hands-on skills on digital hygiene.
FTX, 2019 will be a three-day residential workshop welcoming individuals from Nepal, and will be organized in two groups on the dates of 8th to 10th November and 15th to 17th November 2019. All the expenses of the selected participants will be covered which includes accommodation, food and travelling expenses for the 3 days residential workshop.
