Suicide Awareness and Prevention Workshop

This is an initiative of Department of Counselling Psychology at Samarpan Academy (ICMS), Dhumbarahi in an effort to serve the community

Participants of the workshop:

1. Participants will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of suicide and suicidal ideation
2. Participants will be able to identify the link between mental health and suicide
3. Participants will be able to use empathetic listening skills
4. Participants will be able to use techniques and steps of prevention

Who can attend:
- Nurses, medical doctors, and any health professional
- Psychologists, social workers & counselors
- Students with bachelors degree or above
- Teachers and school administrators
- Care home/Old age home administrators/managers
- Security personnel
-Crisis management professionals
-Anyone interested

Cost
Rs. 100 for registration
(Additional Rs 200 if you need certificate of participation)
