Celebrating World Tourism Day 2019

Kanta dAb dAb and Kutumba are welcoming you all to celebrate the world tourism day 2019 as well as wish for a fruitful Visit Nepal 2020.

Come! Lets witness the music of Nepal with an exclusive collaboration between Kutumba and Kanta dAb dAb. This event is certain to make a decisive musicial evening.

The fund generated from this event will be DONATED to support the travel of three outstanding Nepali musicians, educators, and producers who have been invited to participate in the biggest World Music Expo (WOMEX) and the WOMEX Academy for the first time from Nepal. Beyond the invaluable experiences these events hold for these musicians, they are committed to further sharing the knowledge and training they receive through conducting workshops and mentoring sessions to both professional musicians and music students in Nepal.
They will also be promoting 6 Nepali bands in WOMEX. The idea is to make a remark that Nepali music has the potential to be a part of world music community.

This opportunity will support the preservation and promotion of traditional music in Nepal and build sustainable pathways for musicians to perform internationally.
