Film making is an art that feeds on empathy. This workshop is a cross-cultural collaboration that will bring to you some simple tools that can be used to make your audiences feel, imagine and visualize, creating a lasting impact.
The workshop has four components:
Day
1. A sensory film screening
2. Theoretical discussions on the ethics of film making and some practice assignments
Day 2
1. Tools for sensory film making
2. An invitation to bring personal projects in for a discussion.

Amna Usman is a film maker and development practitioner, based in Pakistan. She specializes in sensory film making and has had the opportunity to present at a number of prestigious platforms including TEDxLahore. Now working as the Communications Officer at a project of Australian Aid, Amna has acquired a unique set of skills in Communications design from a variety of demographics.
