This month we welcome Dr Poonam Rana to speak about how Nepal's many ethnic groups express their culture through their costumes and jewellery, and their art and architecture. Dr Rana is an Associate Professor in the Central Department of Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology at Tribhuvan University, and the author of the book entitled 'Nepalese Ethnic Costumes and Ornaments'. This wide-ranging presentation will touch on how the manifestation of culture can be seen around us every day in the use of clothes and ornaments and the decoration of houses and temples by peoples from all parts of the country.
