OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a collaborative global movement to create a free editable map of the world. People from around the world contribute their local knowledge to make OSM data rich. Rather than the map itself, the data generated by the project is considered its primary output. OSM is considered a prominent example of volunteered geographic information.
During 'Kathmandu OSM Geo Week Mapathon 2019' Youth Innovation Lab in collaboration with U-Inspire Nepal will introduce and sensitize OSM to 50+ youths along with various tools like iD editor, MAPS:ME & JOSM.
