Celebrating 70 years of Nepal - France Friendship

Did you know that, in 1850, the French Prince - President gave to the Nepali Prime Minister Jung Bahadur Rana a sword that belonged to his uncle, French Emperor Napoleon? And did you know that Jung Bahadur Rana had assisted to a review of more than 100,000 French soldiers in Versailles? To learn more on the spectacular origin of the relations between France and Nepal, join us!

Discover the photographic footsteps of this Franco - Nepali relation, learn more about their incredible past and present relationship founded on "trust, friendship and attraction", as the general De Gaulle said to King Mahendra on the 25th of October, 1966!

Honourable Mr Madhav Kumar Nepal, former Prime Minister and the Chairperson of the Nepal France Inter Parliamentary Group will preside the ceremony as the chief guest.

Opening by the French Ambassador will be at 5:30 PM on the 17th of September.

The exhibition will remain until the end of the September from Monday to Friday!
