As #InternationalMountainDay draws closer, we are excited to invite you all to "Tracking The Ghosts of the Mountain," an interactive story telling session helmed by three Nepali conservationists—who, between them, have more than 30 years of experience working in snow leopard habitats.
In addition to showcasing the realities of living with snow leopards, working in their habitats and the science behind it all, the event will take audience members behind the scenes of the most recent snow leopard collaring expedition led by the Government of Nepal. During the historic expedition, two snow leopards, Samling and Zeborong, were fitted with satellite collars for the first time in the Western Himalayan Landscape of Nepal. This will mark the first time that the expedition will be discussed publicly in such detail.
The event will be held in partnership with this year's Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF).
